Heritage
Four Generations
For Silva, making jewelry is part of her heritage, stretching back four generations. First, it was her great-grandfather who lived and worked as a skilled jeweler and diamond merchant in Armenia. Her grandparents later emigrated to Lebanon, where they carried on in the jewelry trade. Then her parents moved to Zimbabwe, with her father opening up one of the first jewelry stores in the capital city, Harare.
For Silva, the fine art of creating jewelry is in her blood.
Silva recently emigrated to the United States, after a successful thirty-five years of designing and creating some of the most breathtaking and sought after jewelry in Zimbabwe. She has had the fortune of designing for some of the most interesting and incredible people for almost four decades.
More than anything she loves connecting with people and learning about them, so she can help bring their stories to life both aesthetically and symbolically in a way that deeply resonates with them, into a wearable form of art to be cherished.
